Active Members are Medical School graduates, have completed an approved residency in a surgical specialty, and are Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Medical Specialties or equivalent Osteopathic Board.
Active Members may hold office and vote.
Annual Dues: $250
(Includes attendance at all society meetings)

Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Members are non-physician members whose practice or career is related to surgery and must be certified in their own specialty. This includes, but is not limited to, Certified Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Operating Room Nurses, and Surgical Technologists.
Affiliate members may not hold office or vote.
Annual Dues: $150 (Incudes attendance to the Annual Meeting)

Honorary Members are elected to Membership as a result of their commitment to the mission of the Society but do not meet requirements for Active or Affiliate Membership. Honorary Members include retired past active or affiliate members, and other esteemed individuals recognized for their commitment to the Mission of the Society.
